The vision of Mr Yash Vardhan in his own words is, “during my college years I always had a strong desire to do something that should elevate life of the people of my country. I had a feeling that this could be achieved by introducing professional studies which can create vast job opportunities. At that time the concept of professional education was limited to Medical and Dental Education Colleges. Today I am proud to realize my dreams. Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University is on the way to establish 'group of Educational Institutions' imparting education in the field of Medical, Nursing, Technical, Management and other fields of education.” He is of a strong opinion that Uttarakhand has very hardworking and dedicated workforce, all they need is proper motivation and education. Management education shall ensure a secured future to the students and shall undoubtedly ensure that hard earned money of the parents is put to the best use. He commits that, “as Chancellor of Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, I assure you that you shall be provided with the best of professional atmosphere. Prof. Dr. Desh Deepak – Vision & Leadership

Prof. Dr. Desh Deepak is a highly respected academician, medical professional, and visionary leader with over 22 years of rich experience in the field of medical education and healthcare services. He completed his MBBS in 1984 from LLRM Medical College, Meerut, followed by an M.D. in Physiology from Swami Ram Himalayan University, Dehradun. Over the years, He has played a pivotal role in shaping medical institutions, He played a significant role in the formative years of the Institutions like Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Govt. Institute of Medical Science & Research, Srinagar Garhwal, Soban Singh Jeena Govt. Institute of Medical Science & Research, Alomra & Government Doon Medical College, Dehradun. His dedication to academic excellence and institutional development has been widely acknowledged.

He has also contributed significantly as Vice Principal of Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Govt. Institute of Medical Science & Research, Srinagar Garhwal, where his leadership and administrative acumen strengthened academic and clinical standards. Beyond institutional roles, he has been actively involved in organizing and leading numerous health camps, reflecting his deep commitment to community service and public health. In 2023, he assumed the role of Principal at Gautam Buddha Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya, further showcasing his capability as an academic leader. His journey of excellence continued as he was appointed Pro Vice Chancellor of the university in 2025. From April 2026, Dr. Deshdeepak has taken on the prestigious position of Vice Chancellor of Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University.

With a focus on multidisciplinary learning across faculties of Medicine, Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, Naturopathy, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Fine Arts, Education, Commerce & Management, Applied Science, Art and Humanity, Hotel Management etc, the university is rooted in the holistic development of students. Digital Learning, and Natural Sciences—promoting applied research that solves real-world problems.

Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University today can proudly boast of many clubs like culture, fine arts, dance, recreation, sports etc ensuring the university as a hub of academic and human excellence. He works closely with students to ensure they get the support for new ideas, research and innovation at Subharti.
